About the Award-Winning Photographer
More than a photographer, she is a story teller.
With a deep respect for nature and an adventurous spirit, her work is the result of years of dedication—meticulous planning, multiple expeditions, and an ethical approach that prioritizes wildlife and their environment.
As a certified Dive Master, she captures the unseen, venturing into remote landscapes and beneath the ocean’s surface to reveal moments that few ever witness. Based in Puerto Rico, she balances a life of exploration with a deep connection to home, cherishing the natural beauty that first inspired her journey.
Short Bio
Darlien Morales is an Emmy-winning environmental filmmaker and one of the few female underwater cinematographers from the Caribbean. Her work—spanning conservation, history, and eco-tourism—has premiered at the Oceanographic Museum, Jackson Wild, Apple TV’s USA Today and even Bad Bunny concerts. She is currently directing an ocean related series for coastal communities while leading diverse underwater cinematography education.
